L’idée du film m’est venue grâce à Woody Allen justement, dont j’admire beaucoup les films. Un jour j’ai pensé combien ce serait génial d’être amie avec lui et que cela pourrait être une bonne idée de film. Se servir de lui pour aider mon héroïne. Car c’est l’histoire d’une enfant qui a du mal à grandir, comme moi. Et le cinéma de Woody Allen montre tout ce qu’il est possible de faire, d’oser.
