The older your property in France, the bigger the problem you have today. Most of us have dreamed of owning a home in France, whether that be a chateau, a house, or an apartment, and some of us have bought an asset and with much sweat and money have converted it into a home. Most Francophiles have a some stage in their lives wanted to become landlords in France. And most of the properties we’ve lusted over are old, very old indeed - that’s usually been part of the attraction.

But in today’s world that dream may have turned into a nightmare.
