This new eBook was inspired by a note from Beatrice during the Tour de France. Beatrice is a subscriber, and her note was one of frustration. As a highly skilled professional, she was not accustomed to feeling uninformed - she was accustomed to being actively involved in conversations, but that wasn’t the case with all the ‘Tour’ chit-chat in July this year. But not next year because Beatrice loves this eBook!et voila, now there is an eBook, awaiting you… And there will soon be more… all about French culture and stories behind famous French legends. Watch this space.
À bientôt !
Warmly,

b) →A first date at Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye outside of Paris
by Kelsey Rose
A divine/magnifique/charmant spot for a first date, I'd say!

A very handsome French man, whom I had met thanks to the Eames House, rescued me from Charles de Gaulle aéroport and then took me on what became my last first date with someone.

c) They Eat Songbirds, Don't They?
by Laura Washburn Hutton
The (illegal) Food aka The Soul of France
There was no explanation; it just happened.
The men were seated around the Château dining table.
In the candlelight, we see them hunched over as they eat little birds in little ramekins, with white linen napkins over their heads and covering their faces. The birds are called les ortolans, and the dish is a delicacy from southwestern France. Diners eat the ortolans with napkins on their heads. Like lobster bibs, but different,” wrote Laura Washburn Hutton.
