1. Introducing #FrenchStack™: Your New French Language Hub
Bonjour from le Bulletin,
Remember how #FranceStack™ brought together ~100 writers from France, all collaborating instead of competing?
Today, we’re doing it again—this time for French language learning.
Here’s how to find our libraries→ This is what you’ll see ← a screenshot below.
NAVIGATION
→Go to “Library” on MyFrenchLife.org ←
→See “READ THIS FIRST.” It is your NAVIGATION POINT: It’s where you’ll find the links to the existing #FranceStack and the new #FrenchStack in French and in English.
Meet #FrenchStack™
You’ve been asking: Where can I find good French teachers? Writers creating content at my level? Resources that don’t feel scattered across the internet?
→#FrenchStack™← is the answer.
While #FranceStack™ celebrates writers from France, #FrenchStack™ is your hub for everything in French:
French teachers who make learning actually enjoyable
Writers creating content in French at every level (beginner to native)
Cultural immersion that brings you closer to living en français
Real approaches to learning, not just textbooks
Same philosophy. Same collaboration magic. New mission.
Why It Works
When #FranceStack™ launched, writers stopped competing and started sharing audiences. Cross-pollination became our superpower.
Now imagine that for French learning:
A beginner finds a teacher → who recommends a writer creating simple stories → who collaborates with a grammar expert → who shares a podcast making French fun.
The network effect multiplies. French stops feeling intimidating and starts feeling like home.
Une marée montante—a rising tide raising all voices.
What You’ll Find
Whether you’re just starting, preparing to move to France, or keeping your skills sharp, #FrenchStack™ is your virtual café.
Browse by need: conversation practice, grammar help, cultural context, authentic reading, inspiring teachers who remember struggling with le subjonctif.
Not every listing is a teacher—you’ll also find writers creating content en français about food, travel, culture, art, and all the joys and challenges of life.
Help Build This
The library launches today, but it grows with community input.
You can help:
Explore the library and follow voices that resonate
Share discoveries with fellow French learners
Tell me who else belongs here—reply with your favorite French teachers or francophone writers
If you’re teaching or writing in French on Substack and you believe in collaboration over competition, contact me! This works best when we build it together.
The Vision
We’re creating pathways to cultural understanding.
We’re supporting independent educators over generic apps.
We’re building bridges between French speakers and learners worldwide.
Every connection made through #FrenchStack™, every learner finding their perfect teacher, every writer gaining readers who truly appreciate their work—that’s collaboration working.
C’est magnifique, vraiment.

Chers amis (dear friends)
So here we are, mes amis. Launch day.
You know what excites me most about #FrenchStack™? We’re doing it the way we always do things here - through collaboration, generosity, and genuine community. Just like #FranceStack™ grew to ~100 writers who genuinely support each other, now we’re creating that same magic for everyone learning and living en français.
Here’s what I hope #FrenchStack™ becomes:
A place where French learners don’t feel alone or overwhelmed. Where you find teachers whose approach resonates with you. Discovering authentic French content at your own level doesn’t require hours of searching.
A space where French teachers and writers gain visibility through community recommendations, not algorithms.
A hub where connections spark naturally - and suddenly, French feels less like a mountain and more like an adventure with friends.
I need your help, though.
You follow French teachers I’ve never heard of, I’m sure... You’ve discovered writers creating gorgeous francophone content… You know what’s missing...
So explore the library today. Follow someone who speaks to your journey. Then hit reply and tell me who else should be there. Share your favourite French teacher. Introduce me to the francophone writer you love. And if that’s YOU? Don’t be shy. Tell me about your work.
This library grows best when we all participate.
Thank you for being here on launch day. Now go explore #FrenchStack™, discover someone new, and come back and tell me about it.
À très bientôt, with gratitude and excitement,
Judy xo
