Living in a culture that values the written word nourishes my love affair with all things print. I’m sharing a few of my preferred places to stock up on literary materials in Paris.
I too LOVE magazines & subscribe to too, too many!! Always have one in my car and/or my purse if I have to wait somewhere I have something to read. NEVER read on my phone...I want to feel the book in my hand!! And...don't get me started on the demise of cursive in American schools!!

I particularly love how they get kids in on the act—my daughters and all their friends have one or two magazine subscriptions. The teachers still promote certain publications, from the daily newspaper Le Petit Quotidien to the monthly science magazine La Salamandre to the monthly reader aptly titled J’aime Lire. I’ll write a post about this at some point, because I just love it :)

Doesn't France have the most beautiful magazines? I'm so glad you focused on them.
Every trip I have made to France meant coming home with the most enormous bundle of magazines- I adore them too
