I do love a Cotes de Ventoux rosé in the summer - great fresh taste and good value. A spicy, peppery red Rhone is great with richer autumnal dishes. Try as I might (and I have), I can’t seem to enjoy white Cote du Rhones and am not partial to marsanne, Viognier or roussanne. I find the wines too flabby and heavy - lacking acidity?
