A big month for French frivolity: the Louvre gets robbed, then four blokes rock up to Canberra with dreams of luxury. Both heists? Spectacularly, hilariously botched.
Although your piece attempts at satire, just to make a point, Canberra is not quite so boring as you make out. It’s quite a sophisticated city with internationally acclaimed restaurants, wealth and suburbs that rival Toorak. Where I live in France also has its share of roundabouts. Just saying…..
Keith Van Sickle reminded me that these 4 Frenchman travelled 17000 klms to rob a house in Vaucluse when they had ´The Vaucluse’ right under their noses. But the house prices would be vastly different!!!!

I guess we will have to wait for inevitable film to know the why's and wherefore's Judy... hilarious though, thanks for sharing!
Really enjoyed your telling of these events. Well done Judy!

Good stuff. Very good stuff, even from down under.
