The Loire Valley, following France’s longest river, is a diverse wine region producing Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Franc, among others. The latter, a parent of Cabernet Sauvignon, thrives here with its fresh, medium-bodied reds and herbaceous notes. St-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil in France’s Loire Valley is home to elegant Cabernet Franc wines.
