Toulouse is my "base big city" and where my husband did his studies. I'm fond of it, but not in love enough to go that often. I used to go to Bordeaux occasionally for work and wish I had gotten to know it better. I suspect I would prefer it to Toulouse as well, but haven't been enough to say so for sure.
