By Keith Van Sickle: ‘I’ll Never Be French (no matter what I do)’ combines hilarious stories of adventures in France with lovely observations about life in a new country.

Thanks for this lovely review! I love this book too. In fact, it is one of my favorite books about life in France, for many of the same reasons mentioned here. If you’ll forgive me for yielding to the temptation, I’m hoping you may also enjoy my new book also, Mr. Van Sickle. It’s called Demystifying the French, and while it’s more “how to” than memoir, it does include a good many anecdotes from my experiences in France that I am happy to say readers are finding amusing.
