Thank you🙏 I love that while there are a lot of changes, the «core» of Parisian culture and traditions remain so strong. That people keep going to parks with their books, and to their neighborhood cafés in the morning. To the market during weekends. And a lot more.
The French NA wines can be confusingly remarkable. I recently opened a bottle of cold rosé that had found its way to my fridge - delicious! Lovely color, nice nose, easy to drink… into my 2nd glass (with a salad composé for dinner) I did think that this must be very low alcohol. Boy was I surprised to find out it was NA. I would buy it again without hesitation.
So, that said, we will slowly watch the introduction of NA wines to French menus, in the same way NA cocktails have made a big showing in the last couple of years.
Terrace life will not be impacted by less drinking (have you not noticed the terrifying the amount of Diablo Menthe on terraces when the temps are high?)
I’d love to get the name of that one🙏 I often drink NA beer, sometimes mocktails, and there’s also an excellent Gin-ish that tastes so good with raspberry tonic, pepper and lime. But I haven’t found a good wine without alcohol yet — it would be great to try it.
Love this! And, I fell in love with Paris nearly 20 years ago too! So much has changed... 🤍

Yet so much has remained the same :)
Paris (in summer) in a nutshell, perfect. :)

Merci, I love this post. You won't see me give up my wine either! Nothing beats sitting outdoors by the Seine in the Summer with a fresh rose!
Thank you so much🙏 Agree, that’s absolutely lovely!
