Provence Dream Tour: Exclusive member offers – December 2022 & May and June 2023 – carefree elegant travel
STOP PRESS: Provence Dream Tour – I have something exclusive and wonderful for all MyFrenchLife members – two tiny group tours to Provence (for members, like me… those who don’t like tours). The first is a December holiday trip in 2022, and the other in Spring 2023. You’ll be delighted to meet and be guided by, the multi-lingual Provence expert and the travel company founder – she is yet another special MyFrenchLife.org member.
1. I’ve been dreaming of visiting Provence – Please tell me more
This offer is your chance to be in Provence from 11-17 December 2022 for a once-in-a-lifetime gourmet, travel, and holiday shopping experience – described by previous guests as “carefree and elegant travel”.
If you’ve been dreaming of visiting Provence in 2022, here’s your opportunity.
A newly announced program by this established boutique travel company has four spots left in a very SMALL group of French food and travel experiences, MAX 6 people. The lovely French founder, who hates group travel (just like me!) has designed her tours for people like her – non-tour people! Sound like you?
In addition to the experiences included in the tour, as MyFrenchLife members you’ll receive two special gifts: – a wonderful spa treatment to experience whilst in Provence, and – a beautiful photo book of your trip to take home with you to keep those cherished memories alive.
Provence Dream: tiny group tour – extra features
These are the things that would be important to me, so I want to share them with you.
An opportunity to practice your French with native speakers every day. The Owner, Driver, Chefs, and Guides are all native French speakers. Additionally, there is a <table ronde> at beakast to practice your French should you wish to do so.
No sharing! Everyone gets their own room with a bath in a 4-star boutique hotel.
No packing/unpacking! You’ll stay in one hotel for the entire trip – unpack and relax.
No hidden expenses! The trips are really totally all-inclusive once clients arrive at the Avignon starting point – that means all meals, wine with meals, all classes, transportation, entry fees, tips, taxes et al. What else should I know?
You’ll be visiting cultural sites and enjoying the relaxed rhythm of Provençal life.
Staying in a boutique hotel and dining at intimate restaurants inaccessible to larger groups.
This trip includes two cooking classes with local chefs in their own homes – we’ll prepare festive, traditional Provencal meals.
And also, a truffle hunt followed by truffle and champagne tasting,
guided cultural and foodie walking tours of Avignon, Arles, and Aix-en-Provence.
There’ll be visits to the ‘santon’ and ‘holiday’ markets in these towns and in Marseille, and
we’ll visit the fabulous sound and light show in Les Baux des Provence.
The all-inclusive price is: USD5600 per person
And even with all of this… you’ll have plenty of free time to shop and/or visit museums.
Dream Provence Tours: Let’s hear what previous guests say
If there is such a thing as carefree and elegant travel, my trip to Provence with [this travel company] proves there is. From the choice of lodging at a small and beautiful inn, to the day trips with local guides, to the terrific cooking classes ( I learned the correct way to cut an onion and pit cherries!), [the owner] arranged everything with taste, precision and joie de vivre. The trip taught me the art of living well, and the company of the other delightful travelers added even more happiness to the trip.
Lynn L, Pennsylvania, 2022
After three tours… I can honestly say that you will experience culinary tourism at its very best. [The owner]’s trips are well-paced, and are a thoughtful balance between market-shopping, cooking and dining, seeing amazing local sites and enjoying free time lounging beside beautiful pools, or doing whatever else you might like to do. You’ll have an extra bonus if you want to practice your French or your Italian. [The owner] is fluent in both!

2. Two Taste of Provence Tours – May 30 to June 6, 2023, and June 9- June 16, 2023
In 2023 there are another two escorted very small group tours to Provence, France. If the timing of the December holiday tour doesn’t suit you, then this Springtime 2023 tour may allow more time for planning.
Small group(6clients max) tours to Provence, France, that trips focus on the food, wine, and culture of Provence. Limited places remain.
The trip includes cooking classes with local chefs in their homes, winery tours, visits to a variety of cultural sites and markets, gourmet walking tours, and more.
Stay in a small, 4-star boutique hotel and dine at intimate restaurants inaccessible to larger groups. (Stay in only ONE hotel per trip, avoiding the unpack/pack/unpack syndrome and allowing you to get a feel for Provence and the rhythms of everyday life).
I pick the late Spring time frame because the weather is beautiful and not too hot and we can avoid the summer crowds ensuring a more relaxed and authentic experience.
The price of the trip is all-inclusive once you arrive at the pick-up point (Avignon) – it includes hotel, all meals (with wine), transportation, cooking class fees, all other tour/entrance fees, tips, and taxes…and it really is 8 full days!
There are NO hidden fees.
Guests have private rooms with en suite bathrooms.
There are NO single supplements.
The all-inclusive price is USD6300 per person.
The trip is perfect for singles, couples, and friends – because of the small group size, clients may come as strangers but always leave as friends.
In addition as MyFrenchLife members you’ll receive two special gifts: – a wonderful spa treatment to experience whilst in Provence, and – a beautiful photo book of your trip to take home with you to keep those cherished memories alive.
