“I’m a full-time photographer, photoblogger, volunteer and grandmother to five delightful grandchildren from Birmingham, USA. In 2007, my daughter took me to Paris. That trip changed my life. The following year at age 63, I retired from teaching, bought a good camera, took two classes started a daily Birmingham photoblog. Following a return trip to Paris in 2008, I created Paris Through My Lens, another daily photoblog. This past November marked my 12th trip to the city I love. My work has been published on Ma Vie Francaise and other online Paris sites and magazines. I teach photography classes for amateurs who want to improve their photographs, give phototalks on Birmingham and Paris, and am always planning that next trip to the City of Light! Paris and photography have changed my life and I am forever grateful.
