Je suis vraiment ravie que ma pemière interview vidéo ait été avec Renée Jacobs.

Non seulement mon amie photographe m’a-t-elle prêté son propre équipement vidéo, mais elle m’a aussi fait boire du champagne… vous le distinguerez peut-être à mon rire. Je suis en général un peu plus sérieuse…  Un petit peu « 😉

Renée Jacobs nous présente ici son nouveau livre à paraître pour la fin 2011, un livre de photos de nus féminins intitulé “Mes petites Femmes de Paris” : des clichés noirs et blancs, de délicates compositions, pleines de mouvement, de passion, et de sensualité.

Je voudrais remercier les artistes musicaux français basés à Los Angeles qui ont très généreusement contribué à l’illustration de l’interview : Jessica Fichot ,  François Chouchan , et le groupe Seeing Thingz .

Renée Jacobs donnera une Soirée de Pré-publication pour “Mes Petites Femmes de Paris” à Los Angeles, à la Gallerie Skotia , le 8 octobre 2011.

    Renee has just returned to LA from 3 weeks of shooting nudes in Paris, for her new book… watch out for it!
    And I thought that you might like to read a little more about Renee as we wait for her images to be edited and the book published.

    A Los Angeles based photographer was awarded the prestigious International Photography Awards first place award for Fine Art Nude in 2008. Her work has been featured in in numerous publications including; The New York Times, Fine Art Photo, Silvershotz (Austraiia), Adore Noir, FHM (Germany), Esquire (Turkey), Photoicon, B&W Magazine, and Nude Magazine.
    Jacobs’ early photojournalism included assignments for The New York Times, and The Philadelphia Inquirer among others. She received the Robert F. Kennedy Award for Outstanding Coverage of the Disadvantaged, and her work is in the permanent collection of the JFK Presidential library. Jacobs’ monograph Slow Burn: A Photo document of Centralia, Pennsylvania was originally published in 1986 and re-issued in 2010 to favorable reviews in the New York Times, and Photo-eye. After a 15 year detour as a civil rights lawyer, Jacobs has returned to her love of photography.”
