My Fondest French Christmas Memory: Tina

Hannah Duke 12/11/12

Tina says…

“It was last Christmas (2011) and I spent it with my husband, whom at the time was my boyfriend.

We were in Nice enjoying all the Christmas trees, decorations and outdoor shops in the Place Masséna. The main fountain’s Statue had been exchanged for a massive fully decked out Christmas tree.

We were drinking hot wine, eating roasted chestnuts and buying goodies from the local venders. Just soaking up the atmosphere and watching the light show on the Galleries Lafayette and surrounding buildings that were queued to music. Strolling along taking it all in.

Just before Christmas we went to Paris to get into the ‘Christmas Spirit’. As you can imagine, it was magical…it must have been because just a few days later Sylvain proposed to me – voilà!”
