Where do the fashionable people go? Cordelia’s French Favourites

She studied womenswear and underwear design at Esmod Paris, and now works as a production assistant for Issey Miyake. But Cordelia Houel wasn’t always sure she wanted to study fashion.

“I started out doing a degree in interior architecture; however, I found it too mathematical and there wasn’t enough room for creativity. That’s one of the reasons why I was attracted to the world of fashion,” she explains. So where do production assistants for major international fashion brands choose to spend their days and nights in Paris? Read on to find out.

For a day trip 

When the sun is shining take a train to Deauville and enjoy its beautiful beaches, beachfront cafés, and chic shops. Famously, Coco Chanel opened her first boutique in the town.
