Where do the fashionable people go? Cordelia’s French Favourites
She studied womenswear and underwear design at Esmod Paris, and now works as a production assistant for Issey Miyake. But Cordelia Houel wasn’t always sure she wanted to study fashion.
“I started out doing a degree in interior architecture; however, I found it too mathematical and there wasn’t enough room for creativity. That’s one of the reasons why I was attracted to the world of fashion,” she explains. When the sun is shining take a train to Deauville and enjoy its beautiful beaches, beachfront cafés, and chic shops. Famously, Coco Chanel opened her first boutique in the town.
