MyFrenchLife Community: members sharing passion & support
le Bulletin: 31 March 2018
Chers et chères ami(e)s – MyFrenchLife Community members.
Bon week-end !
I want to send you
a
heartfelt thank you.
Thank you
sent me wonderful messages recently,
most of which have been about
our new closed Community Page on Facebook.
Underlying messages:
were threefold:
– the magazine articles,
– the weekly ‘le Bulletin’ newsletter
– and for some, the opportunity to meet regularly
for French Conversation
and
3. how individuals can feel proud to be members.
one that says it all, and succinctly…
Hello Judy,
My French Life is going from strength to strength.
What you’ve achieved so far is magnificent.
I’m so proud to be a member of the community.
Warmest wishes,
Kirsten
I’m always striving to find ways to add value to you:
the members.
And, I am so excited when my ideas come to fruition!
MyFrenchLife Community
I agree, that the addition of the Community Page
has provided a wonderful opportunity
for members to connect
with others with shared passions
and for me too, to connect with all of you.
Also the MyFrenchLife Book Clubs,
one under the direction of
Jacqueline Dubois Pasquier,
and the other, Jessica Rushton,
have also added immeasurably
to the sense of community.
I cannot tell you how delighted I am, that you,
the members of the MyFrenchLife Community,
wear that badge with pride!
Upon reflection:
During the week
whilst reflecting on all of this
I found myself wondering…
‘What is Community?’
‘What is the MyFrenchLife Community?‘
Are we a group of people sharing our
interest in and passions for France?
Or, are we something else…
or are we something more?
If we are something else,
what is it?
Is caring, helping & supporting
other members enough?
How can the MyFrenchLife Community
be even more than it is today?
And I found myself wondering how we can support each other
MORE!
How can we do more to help other members?
And what could that look like?
I’d love to hear your ideas.
Please do let me know
in the comments section below
