MAP Toulouse becomes E-MAP: 15-25 April 2020 – Comes to you in 2020 with a digital photography competition

The Famous French MAP Festival is this year becoming 100% digital – Don’t miss this opportunity – check these dates.

The Festival MAP held annually in Toulouse in the South of France is an extensive, well-known & respected free cultural event. This year the 12th edition of the Festival is back with a new format, from 15th to 25th April 2020!

In the unusual context in which we are all currently living with COVID-19, the organization behind the Festival MAP has decided to maintain its annual Festival and to make it 100% virtual and even the photography competition is online! From your home, you’ll be able to discover the work of famous and emerging artists through this virtual competition.

Festival MAP (MAP- Mise au point) is the real highlight of the Toulousaine cultural panorama, which shines the spotlight on selected well-known artists (Elliott Erwitt, Raymond Depardon, Yuri Kozyrev…) and also on young photographers.

I have always really liked this festival for its DNA which exhibits, and supports creativity. Personally, I love the friendly atmosphere evident in the exchanges between professional artists and those emerging. It is a real moment of sharing where young and old are welcomed.

Thanks to this 100% digital version, this year we now all have access to this French event. It is all accessible from the Festival’s website or from their social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram.

E-MAP invites you to discover 11 highlights and every day, they will provide you a distinctly individual event.

For example
– On one day you could meet the British photographer Derek HUDSON with a video where M. HUDSON will explain to you each of these photographs and how he works,
– then the day after, you can join to a class of photography live, with the French photographer, Julien MIGNOT.

In addition to the exhibitions that visitors are used to seeing every year, one of this year’s highlights is the Photography Competition

Le Marathon Photographique MAP-Poussière d’image’.
