Provence: A Walk to Bandol in Winter

The Var: I have enjoyed a glorious six weeks traveling to many of the different towns along the coast in the Var. I think I saw just about every Christmas market in the area, and I loved it!
Provence in autumn is my favorite time of year. The perfect temperature & villages are still open but its calm after a busy tourist season.
The Summer Flowers of Provence: When Spring arrived in Provence, I remember being very excited one day as I passed my first Poppy field. It was the month of May. I gasped when I came across this field of red that appeared before me.
Toulon... is a must-visit bigger French city, which has so much to offer. I will definitely be going back.
The Var is very diverse - you’ll have a choice between the sea, vineyards, and countryside. There's no lack of things to do.
Visit Lourmarin, Ansouis, and Etang de la Bonde & don’t be afraid to take detours to possibly discover the little gems & prettiest views yet.
Le Puy Saint Reparade is only 20 minutes north of Aix - a tiny village graced with a few very beautiful chateaux.
I live in Aix and I’ve gotten to know it very well. The easiest way to start your walk into this area is to walk up Cours Sextius or the street just parallel.
Train to Paris and beyond - TIPS: Taking the train is so relaxing and such a nice way to travel around France. It's very easy & convenient.
