I took French as a language starting in second grade. I guess that is why I have always had this French thread weaving in and out of my life.   Something about France is very familiar to me.

Although, I speak little French I read a lot about France. Because I am Jewish, my interest is French Jews during WWII,  life before, during and after.

I have only been to France twice. I stayed in Paris. I wish I could go and travel more in France  and not worry about rushing back to the states. Perhaps one day.
