I’m a freelance writer, francophile and accomplished champagne cork wrangler.  In 2015 I had a six month ‘gap year’ in rural France  – 40 years late but better late than never – to work on that pesky manuscript gathering dust in the bottom drawer. I completed a French major at Melbourne university more years ago than I care to remember and now is my chance to improve my French language skills. I plan to build on my writing career, forsaking all other income sources, now that I am back in Melbourne. For the next two years I will be studying for the RMIT Professional Writing and Editing associate degree.
