I hardly knew anything about France before moving here, other than the obvious things—they eat snails and other interesting foods, the Eiffel Tower is here, it’s gorgeous, it’s fashionable, etc. I didn't expect that the French would be so different in terms of personality, outlook, bureaucracy, temperament, well, everything.
