La fête de la Musique is a dynamic street music festival and one of the most popular yearly events in Paris. This festival brings hundreds of musicians to the streets, cafes, and bars of Paris.

Get out and enjoy the free performances; dance along to the wonderful music of many different genres. This festival is relaxed with a great ambiance for all to enjoy!

MyFrenchLife™– Paris in June – UEFA European ChampionshipIf you’re a football fan, catch a game in Paris in June during the 15th UEFA European Championship. The Stade de France will erupt as the competition kicks-off with a match between France and Romania on Friday 10 June 2016.

More matches will be played at various locations around Paris, keep an eye out for available tickets here.

Experience the tropics in Paris

Paris in June is getting tropical! Come and see spectacular costumes and decorations as the streets of Paris come to life this June for the 15th Carnaval Tropical de Paris. Thousands of dancers, singers and musicians will parade the streets of Paris – by foot and on floats. This year’s theme is ‘Sports and Cultures of the world.’

Let’s eat!

MyFrenchLife™– Paris in June – Mee Goreng

Looking for something a bit different to eat in Paris this June?

Head to the Singaporean Street Food markets along La Seine riverbank and arouse your tastebuds with a dish of mee goreng (pan fried noodles), or typical bak kut teh soup.

Craving something sweet? Try cendol, a traditional dessert made with coconut milk and rice flour jelly noodles. There is also a photo exposition on the Singaporean flavours to enrich your knowledge of this cuisine.

MyFrenchLife™– Paris in June – Paris est Ludique (2)

Time to play

Paris est Ludique is a festival of board games. There are stands with hundreds of games for the whole family to enjoy. Come down to this open air festival with a group of family or friends to enjoy a game or two on the lawns – it’s a bit of fun for everyone.

Pianists in the Park

The Chopin Festival takes place this June in Parc de Bagatelle. The event consists of various concerts and conferences paying tribute to the Polish composer and pianist of the romantic era. Young pianists and winners of international competitions are also invited to come down on the ‘piano open doors’ days to play their interpretations of Chopin’s music. You can also discover original compositions by modern composers inspired by Chopin.

MyFrenchLife™– Paris in June – Parc Bagatelle

This event is open to the public so come along, relax in the botanical gardens, and discover the music of Chopin as well as many contemporary works.
