Mr. Blake At Your Service - It’s a charming film. Malkovich is mesmerising, and both he and Ardant are of course a joy to watch.
Iris and the Men: This film looks to be a winner and many people including myself will see it purely because it stars the charming Laure Calamy (‘Antoinette in the Cévennes’, ‘Call My Agent’).
A film worth watching for a window into French life in the late 1800s – with the rise of feminism, plenty of duelling action, albeit with some old men stuffily pontificating about the world, and there’s a dash of romance as well.
