Brittany: A diverse and popular peninsula with an often rugged, spectacular coastline, an interior full of vibrant towns and villages, and large numbers of prehistoric menhirs.
I had never heard of Beurre Bordier, but I soon discovered that was almost like never having heard of Ben & Jerry’s — it was the butter, renowned both in France and around the world, a gem, but hardly a hidden one.
Brittany: Léhon is a delightful small and ancient village located a couple of bucolic kilometres walk along the Rance River from the much larger tourist hotspot of Dinan. It’s home to an abbey, monastery, castle ruins and several small bars and restaurants.
My biggest regret about moving is that I didn’t take the time to just breathe in my first month.
I'm not dreaming of living here. I'm actually living here! Experiencing - joy, satisfaction, pride, loneliness & even feeling overwhelmed.
One of my favorite pastimes in Brittany is walking along the River Rance: enjoying nature’s gifts & decompressing
Visit Moëlan-sur-Mer — Try something new, French + Cooking - cook regional dishes, meet interesting people + visit the magnificent beaches & historical sites. It is for these reasons that I hope everyone wanting to visit France has an experience like this. It left me completely refreshed and more eager than ever to improve my language skills.
Binge we will. Let's start in Dinan, then Lehon and St Briac... Such a strong nature cocktail!
Experience the coast, the forest, local cuisine, sink your toes in sand, enjoy books & truly decompress
