I couldn't imagine a better place to shoot my film than France and especially Paris because it has a great significance for Woody Allen. He himself has used Paris a lot for his own movies. That said, I don't think French romantic comedies have anything particular, we're even quite behind the American romantic comedies...

L'idée du film m'est venue grâce à Woody Allen justement, dont j'admire beaucoup les films. Un jour j'ai pensé combien ce serait génial d'être amie avec lui et que cela pourrait être une bonne idée de film. Se servir de lui pour aider mon héroïne. Car c'est l'histoire d'une enfant qui a du mal à grandir, comme moi. Et le cinéma de Woody Allen montre tout ce qu'il est possible de faire, d'oser.
