Paris in July: summer festivities include a plethora of shows, concerts and festivals for everyone to enjoy.
The Tour de France flaunts France's charm, passing through some of the country's most stunning areas including Mont Saint Michel, the Côte d’Azur, Corsica and its famed mountain ranges. For the 100th anniversary competitors will do a complete circuit of the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe.
According to the organisers of The Tour de France, 12-15 million tourists, cycling enthusiasts and families gather together every year to cheer on the champions, as well as to see the procession (a parade of floats and promotional vehicles) go past.
Selon l'organisation, 12 à 15 millions de touristes de passage, de fans du vélo ou de familles se rassemblent chaque année pour applaudir les champions mais aussi pour voir passer les caravanes du Tour.
Un circuit touristique où presque tout le charme de l'hexagone sera mis en lumière. L'émission de télévision « Village Départ » présentera chaque matin avant l'étape les spécificités régionales (culture, gastronomie, tourisme...). De quoi mettre en bouche le public !
