Exactly 100 years ago the French chemist Georges Claude took a colorless, single atom gas and put it under pressure in a column of glass, thus perfecting red neon lighting. By experimenting ... an entire palette of color was created and within 30 years artists were manipulating the material to create monumental works of art.
I wanted to make them understand what I love about the country that is so different and yet in so many ways similar to that country of ours so far across the Atlantic Ocean. However, as few things ever go as I plan, there was no reason for this trip to be any different.
